President’s Message:

Congratulations to many of our CDS Exhibitors who have had big wins at the shows this year.  Jesse Peterson won King of the Show at CT, Long Island and Rhode Island along with numerous other wins.  Barbara LaRochelle won both King and Queen of the show at the Mid Island show along with numerous other wins in four shows.  Donna Paternostro won the Queen of the Show at Long Island.  Dottie and Dave Crockett had many wins in four shows and Jon Wooten captured many of the basket classes in the shows and his son James  also won in three shows.

Our October bloom contest is always fun so if you still have some, bring them along.  One prize for the Best AA, A, or B bloom and another prize for one in BB size on down.  Display them in your own containers.

Root cutting is always part of our October Meeting, so for our new members, this gives you a chance to see it done by our society members.  Storage techniques will also be demonstrated.
