At our May Meeting our Membership voted to hold our 50th.
Anniversary Show for two days in 2008 and decided that the planning for it will
begin right after our 2007 show is completed.
We have also agreed to host the NADC Show in conjunction with our 2008 show. The challenge class variety for the
“Neckerman Award” given by the NADC at that show will be selected by us this
fall.
Our Editor plans to showcase our CDS History, Show sites, CT
Originations Past-Presidents and other historical items of interest in our 2008
Newsletters.
Again we have a rainy spring, but hopefully your roots have
survived it and are popping through the ground. If you do not have some coming up after another week or so, dig carefully around the root to
evaluate its’ viability, you may need to replace it.

Display Garden
Update:
Planting has been completed on the garden in
Elizabeth Park and Jesse is still
looking for volunteers to help maintain it throughout the summer. The special
need to replace the post that holds our sign describing the various dahlia
varieties is still there. If you are
handy with woodworking this would be much appreciated.
