President's Message…

Our annual CDS Picnic will once again be held at the home of Johnathan and Barbara Wooten.  For those of you who attended last year's picnic you know that this is the perfect setting for our event.  The Wooten family puts many hours into creating the beautiful gardens that surround their property.  For those of you who didn't attend last year, please come and enjoy all the beautiful gardens and of course the dahlias!  Johnathan has planted over five hundred this year!

Society members are asked to please RSVP to my home number, (203) 269-6943, and also plan to bring a side dish or desert.  Please let me know what you'll be bringing to avoid duplication. Of course spouses and significant others are welcome guests.

We will also be having an auction after the picnic. Our Ways and Means Chairman Nick Paternostro requests donated auction items to help with this event.  A potted dahlia plant, a soaker hose, fertilizer, or a potted plant would be some great donations.

Directions to the Wooten's home are included in this newsletter.  Please do try to join us for some great food, beautiful gardens and a relaxing afternoon by the water.

Sincerely,

Kevin Wasilewski

C.D.S. President
