Schedule of Shows in the North Atlantic Dahlia Conference  for 2008:

August 16 & 17  Washington County Fair, Richmond, RI, by the RIDS

August 23 - 24          50th Annual Show of the CDS, Elizabeth Park, Hartford

   Friday: 6:00 - 10:00 PM  - Set up and open for Dahlia entries.

   Saturday: 7:00 - 11:00 AM - Hall open for Dahlia entries. 11:30 Judging commences. 1:00 PM Banquet TBA

   Saturday: 1:30 - 5:00 PM - Show open for Public viewing. No charge. Flowers available for purchase.

   Sunday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Show open for Public viewing. No charge. Show flowers available for purchase at 4:15PM

 Note: Most shows have schedules similar to CDS's show, particularly on Saturday.

       Directions to Wooten Residence

            From North:

                 ·        Wilbur Cross to Route 8 South (first exit after Sikorsky Bridge)

·        Rt.8 ends at I. 95 – Take South I. 95 exit.

·        Exit 20, “Bronson Road”, turn left at Bottom of Ramp

·        300 yards around a curve to Stop sign – turn left  over Rail Bridge – go 100 yards to Rt. 1

·        You can’t turn left on Rt.1 – take immediate right which goes under Rt. 1 then follow around to get on Rt. 1 going East.

·        ¼ mile to first light – right on Sasco Hill Road.

·        210 is 1/4 mile on right. Can't miss stone wall and gate.

·        Parking is limited to about 8 cars

·        If parking is filled, continue 100’ and park on “Sasco Hill Terrace” a street on the left. There is no parking on Sasco Hill Road.   

            From South: 

·        95 to Exit 19 “Southport”. Turn right on Center Street at bottom of ramp.

·        Continue straight ¼ mile to road end in Southport Center. Take 45 degree left turn on Harbor Road.

·        Follow Harbor road up and down a hill. At the bottom there is an historic Mill at the head of Southport Harbor. Harbor road turns right.

·        As you go past the Mill and up a hill, there is a stone wall. This is the Wooten Residence. Turn right on Sasco Hill Road and enter the gate.

·        If parking is filled, continue 100’ and park on “Sasco Hill Terrace” a street on the left. There is no parking on Sasco Hill Road.
